UPDATE: Cook was a limited participant in practice Saturday and is questionable for Monday night's game against the Jets with a toe injury, Katherine Fitzgerald of The Buffalo News reports.

ANALYSIS: A report earlier Saturday indicated that Cook would be limited in practice, but he is trending toward suiting up Monday. With the first part of that scenario having officially occurred, there is reason to believe Cook is in line to play against the Jets. The running back didn't practice at all Thursday and Friday, so his upgrade to a limited session Saturday is a welcome sign for fantasy managers who roster him. Still, it makes sense to keep a close eye on any updates to Cook's status, as the Bills playing on Monday Night Football makes for a tricky situation in fantasy should there be any hint that he may actually not be cleared to start in the contest. Ty Johnson and Ray Davis are the ball carriers behind Cook on the depth chart.

      10/12/2024 11:18:21 AM EST

UPDATE: Cook (toe) is expected to practice in limited fashion Saturday and is trending toward playing Monday against the Jets, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

ANALYSIS: Schefter seems plugged into this situation given the Bills technically haven't practiced yet Saturday. Cook was a DNP for both Thursday and Friday practices, so any upgrade seems to be a solid affirmation of the aforementioned report. Expect more confirmation to arrive in the coming days, but should Cook play, both Ty Johnson and Ray Davis would likely continue to operate as a backup platoon out of the backfield.

      10/12/2024 11:03:35 AM EST

UPDATE: Head coach Sean McDermott expects Cook (toe) to be listed as questionable for Monday's contest against the Jets, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

ANALYSIS: This news tidbit comes before the Bills will practice Saturday, so it's fair to say there's likely more context to come after this initial announcement. Expect further information later in the day.

      10/11/2024 1:33:40 PM EST

UPDATE: Cook (toe) was deemed a non-participant in Friday's walkthrough.

ANALYSIS: With back-to-back listed DNPs on Thursday and Friday, what (if anything) Cook is able to do Saturday could loom large in terms of his availability for Monday night's game against the Jets. Unless he practices fully, however, the running back presumably will carry a Week 6 injury designation. If Cook ends up unavailable against New York, Ty Johnson and Ray Davis would be next up for the Bills' backfield touches.

I don't know, but so far New Yorkers have been very patient with A-Rod.
I live halfway between Boston and NYC and I know firsthand New Yorkers are not very patient.

I guarantee if Rodgers lays another stinking turd tonight, he'll be crucified tomorrow on sports talk and social media.
Which will keep your pal Nasher busy, so I don't mind.

This is not a great game. I’d like to think the Bills get back on track but the Jets are really desperate here. I don’t believe Rodgers has any vintage performances left in him and both teams like to kick their own ass. Who will try to lose more? The Bills were feeling themselves a few weeks back. Both could be 3-3 by the end of the night but the noise is deafening if you are a JET. Wont matter… Jets problems are top to bottom and organizationally. If forced to make a play I’d take the Bills and look for another crash landing by the Jets.

But just a barely .500 playoff QB.

A-Rod may have won a few of those 'standalone games' but IMO he's not an all-time great.
Maybe it's just me but a barely .500 playoff QB with just one Championship in 20 years is not an all-time great.
                                      But that's just me.

                                            44-26 with breakdown:

                                            Sunday: 21-14

Something interesting but not too impressive when you look at the company he’s with:

He is the third-best quarterback in NFL history in prime time by passer rating at 105.3 (minimum 100 pass attempts), trailing only Deshaun Watson (110.4) and Drew Brees (105.5).

The any given Sunday is already factored in to the #s, call is bad variance, noise whatever. Still like I have said before all FOOTBALL (ncaaf, cfl, nfl, arena) doesn't make up close to 6% of my wagers. That being said out of all my wagers in general only 40% are better than a half of percent play for me. Do not really know about you but what's earned in this house is put into preservation, likewise, invested to create more wealth never taking away from the capital. Shit Afterall blood sweat, and tears created it. I just wonder what that saying for humanity, I suppose some of these guys are risking 2-3 week paychecks on a game thinking they have an edge. Oh, and yes, we are just talking football.
