Sat behind home plate for one of his 20th win mid 70's games. What a day!! What a 4 or 5 year stretch for him and the Sox!!

When I wasn't in the clubhouse at Palm Beach Greyhounds Luis favorite seat was 2 down from mine. Man loved the hounds.

And finally this ... Really 155 pitches. Not like our porcelain dolls/arms on the mound today.

Tiant shut out the Reds in Game 1, threw 155 pitches in another complete-game victory in Game 4 and was back on the mound for eight innings in Game 6, which Boston won on Carlton Fisk’s home run in the bottom of the 12th. The ’75 Series, which Cincinnati won in seven games, is often cited as the greatest of all time.
