KC is okay Steve but they need to get more runs. As a yanks fan I really like our team this year. I think the pitching is much better than in the past. Another thing is that in the past the yanks always lost to Houston or an al east team. They have owned the central for years in the playoffs and guess what?

KC was a .500 team vs everyone but the white Sox. I don't think they win here. Yanks in 4.

I dont see it nasher. Royals offense has dropped off a cliff for the better part of a month. Luckily they were in the AL so when they shit the bed in September so did all the other playoff contenders. Drawing Os was a gift from God as their offense was just as bad. Scratching out 1 run will be them boat raced home so they better figure something out at the plate.

Seth Lugo is the secret sauce.
His curveball this season was the most devasting curveball I've seen since Mike Mussina's overhand yakker of 16 years ago.

KCs got the lineup back that was crushing everything in August, and the rotation is setup like a bowling pin.
It's all I can ask for, and then some.

If I'm Quatraro this is my pregame address "We're playing with house money fellas, go have some fun" and put Massey and Witt Jr. in motion and let Vinny and Sal Perez do their RBI thing.

I love what Quatraro did with the pitching.
He got Wacha throwing strikes again, tore down the bullpen, leveled it, then built it up with depth and a purpose.

Yeah, I'm a homer, but the team that is rolling into the Big Ball Orchard in the South Bronx can beat New York three games out of five.

Detroit is about the same home and road so nothing changed there. Coinflip series still think Cleveland pitching is better overall but Detroit getting to clase was a big blow and the tribe can't hit.
