If you want me to repost them... let me know. Sorry, if you didn't know I tossed Tulane game out a week ago. I never bet a bowl team that lost its last two games. In addition, I won't bet a college football team whose QB transfers during regular season or bowl season. If you bet Tulane, I apologize but I didn't have time to repost that pick.

I know this thread gets long. I will look into the Yale bball game... I wasn't close on that one.

Heads Up... a debate... that I have had in the past...

The Mount St. Marys game versus Miami went into OT and it lost because of it. I had the under. I know many might not understand this but I count that as a win.

I cannot model for OT. If it happens it happens either way. If I needed OT to win... and it did... I count it as a loss. If you focus on the transaction... you will lose in the end. Focus on the process. Was it the right bet? If they need 20 points in OT to beat me by a .5, I will take that all day long.

In poker, that would be a runner, runner to beat me.

As an analyst, poker player, mathematician... take that all day long and forget about the results.

It has been a really good season in NCAAF. NBA is doing better than expected, hope that can continue. NCAAB is good but has definitely been frustrating at times, I have lost probably 10 times by half a point in totals this year so far and some bets were not even close but that can happen. NFL has been the worst for me but I can see it improving. I think tweaking the combination of season long info and putting weight on the few previous weeks depending on the competition is the best way to go. As always, I think you're doing a great job and can't imagine the hard work you put into it!

Answering your questions... 5-1 Bowl Season so far...

My projected numbers are only the first step in establishing the picks. I have multiple filtering systems beyond the projected numbers up until 2/3rds through the season.

After 2/3rds through the season, my projected numbers become really good. It happened in college bball last year and I am doing it for college football these year. Starting Week 10... I include any projected games within reason. I do have a small parameter so that I don't take games right at the line. I have bet all the college football games that I listed.

Must be Home Team and favored by double digits per the Vegas line.
Your numbers must have the home team covering the Vegas line.
The Team Total you assigned the home team must be 8 points higher
than the Team Total assigned by Vegas. The last three weeks or so
this situation has hit at over 60%. Not sure if it will continue but will
keep track and let you know. Thanks again for your effort.

Transfer Portal provides and opportunity that Vegas might not be able to keep up with

Right now, I am 5-1 excluding the Tulane game. I didn't bet that game because they lost the last two games of their season. In additional, their starting QB entered the portal.

If you take my numbers and combine them with the transfer portal action... I think real money can be made. For example UTSA versus Coastal Carolina. About 5 UTSA players sat out relative to 20+ for Coastal including their QB. How did I not go deeper on that pick?

My system was projecting the win without all those players sitting out.
