When I use to take my Two Daughters to the Old Gulfstream Park, Calder & Hialeah Race Tracks in the Mid 80's & thru the 90's this would be my gaming style. They would ask several ?'s about the Horses with the last one being who did U bet on.

I would respond I used the one the six & the nine horses.

The race would run and sure enough those 3 Horses Won, Placed & Showed.

The Girls were Very Excited, You Won Daddy You Won.

And I responded NO, I had the three Horses but I keyed the One with the Six & Nine and the NINE Won.

Since they did have an understanding of how Key & Box Wagers were made they would ask why didn't you BOX them.

I responded I'm a Better Handicapper than Bettor.

Unfortunately this has been a SLIGHT downfall in my Pari-Mutual Wagering.
