On game day, Florida police will be patrolling massage parlors instead of the stadium. 🤣

Have some interest. One contingency: *Waiting to see injury status of Browns' two Off Tackles.

Have attended games @JAX. I'd rate it as a GOOD crowd. But I'd call it "supportive" and not "daunting."

I don't believe they sell out most games. If Brown fans want tickets, they can surely attend.

how do you foresee the deshaun watson situation play out before this game?

i will be honest i thought they would beat Dallas but they looked turrrrible as barkley would say.

i honestly have no idea how this will play out.

i am tempted to take jacksonville based on looking like a slightly better team on paper and being at home plus the watson drama

Was thinking Browns but now I likely Pass. Plan to look for a better spot.

homie, props on your threads. Re-generating traffic here @SBR. I try to do the same on my NFL pick thread and the Contrarian thread.

One small counter I'd give. I base my plays mostly on math projections. I don't try to read too much into the narrative. My rationale is pretty simple. Too much talk looks a lot like the Podcasts, and those guys will say whatever is convenient to them.

My basic view on this game:
              1) I'm bullish on both Cle and Jax. Will be looking for the right spot to back them (especially Cle).
              2) I do think it's important for CLE to have a more solid Off Line. Watson needs all the help he can get. I am in the school of thought that Watson has made too much $$ and is probably not too interested in taking a big hit.
              3) I go back to spots last year where the CLE defense looked dominant. Another angle that people forget = JAX coasting to a playoff spot in 2023, before Lawrence played thru injury late in the year.

homie, will voice my opinion a little further. I'm a believer in CLE DC Shwartz:

Admittedly, the Browns had some strange results in 2023. I am, however, a believer in Schwartz game-planning. I'm sure I'll be backing CLE as a dog at some point, just not this week.

if it was mostly based on my math, all of the electrical engineers in my family (father, cousin, BIL) would be minting money at sports.

IMO the talent on the field is the number one factor.

i line up the players position by position and it was worked over the course of 20 years.

not saying math is not important, but IMO the fundamental angles ie the talent on the field, is the #1 factor in who will win and who will cover.

                  just my .02

I was a huge proponent in the Browns reaching for Watson. That appears to have been a huge mistake. Watson looks broken to me. His pocket awareness is shit. He holds onto the ball to long and runs into sacks. His accuracy is questionable and he just does dumb things. He can't be trusted. Almost every other QB has looked better under Stefanski. The defense can't stay on the field all day. I think it will take a few games for the Browns to come around to looking like a good team. None of their starters played in the preseason and it shows. Expect at least a half dozen dumb penalties too. Hard pass on the Browns until they show me something. Fade them until them.

why were you a big proponent of getting Watson? His talent would overcome all other obstacles?

25% chance of rain on sunday in Jacksonville.

maybe that will slow down trevor and etienne more than the browns can.
