I think having a mid-week poker game would be awesome, just like the old SBR days.

Let's avoid Fridays though, since it's a popular night out. Mondays or Thursdays would be a better fit.

Poker Stars Home Games seems like the best option. I'm a member on another poker forum that at least used to run games on Pokerstars Home Games and it works great. I think the best time would be on a Saturday or Sunday from like 2-4 PM EST time since that works best for all time zones really and gets people a chance to play that can't play during the week and its not too early or too late in the day for the weekend. I think a turbo format is best and try to make the tournament not last more than 2 hours.

pokerstars lets anyone play on their play money only site from the United States. I think the state of Washington might not let people play though cuz they suck.

I don't think we will be returning to having our own platform which is why we are exploring other options. But I think everyone will enjoy the PS home games as an option. We could also look at setting up a league in Replay Poker.

Love to see this, sure do miss the SBR poker. Never going to be a perfect time but Sunday night during SNF probably best bet. Sunday is the traditional tourney poker day.

Date/Time: I'd suggest two tourneys on a Sunday at 4pm and 8pm ET, with the top 10 in each progressing to a 20 person final run during MNF

Game type: NLHE 6 per table

Format: Design to end in under 2 hours

Who can play? I think there should be a rule that only forum members in good standing are eligible for prizes. Maybe even make it that only people with a post or two in the last month are eligible.

Payouts: $100 $70 $50 $30 + $25 for each of the two qualifying tournament winners = $300

I love this format. Maybe add one qualifier at 1pm ET, so people can watch football (sat/sun) while tracking their bets.

The final can be any time, MNF or TNF or anything else, but I'd prefer an assortment of QUALIFIERS at different times so everyone gets to play without too much hussle.

Shorter stacks and a (small) ante from level 1 - to encourage more action even 6 handed - would work very well I think

I use Replay Poker because it's not a pay site and people on there are either clowns or pros sharpening their game. They allow private tables, not sure of tournaments. But they do have private leagues. Whatever the game, I'm definitely in!
