                    RIP

Like many of Vince Mcmahon's big men, he was a physical specimen but had very little skill in the ring.

Guy should have won an academy award for staying in character for the introduction of the "Shockmaster".

                          Just like Hulk Hogan.

RIP Sid. Saw him live a few times when he was with WCW in 1990-1991. Was always an attraction and clearly belongs in the WWE Hall Of Fame.

Hogan wasn't the best in ring but was a lot better than some...at least he could put together a decent match.

The problem is that the HOF is all politics...

Many deserve to be in that are not and many that are in, do not deserve it. A lot comes down to whether Vince liked you or not...I guess maybe now it is Triple H?

Hulk had a lot of things going for him that a large percentage of the wrestlers didn't have, charisma for one.
Hulk could sell out an arena by himself, he had great mic and interviewing skills.
Let's face it though, he had very limited wrestling skills.

The absolute, without a doubt, greatest on the mic was The Rock.

                                  My all-time favorite Rock interview.
Not for nothing, how steaming hot is Lilian Garcia.
IMO it was Lilian who 'sold' this interview.

                                    Agreed about Hogan...

The Rock was great on the mic, was he the best? I'm not so sure of that. So many before him can stake a claim...just off the top of my head Ric Flair, Ole Anderson, Dusty Rhodes, Macho man, Jake Roberts(more psychological), Ted Dibiase, Jerry Lawler etc

Rock was definitely up there though but give me many of the old timers.

I may be in the minority here, but I think CM Punk has mazing mic skills, especially when he does that "Pipe bomb" bit of his.

And yeah, I loved Macho Man's Slim Jim spots "Slim Jim, snap into one"

Yes CM Punk is very good from the little I have seen.

Go watch some old Ole Anderson promos and remind yourself of how good he was cutting promos.

Arn Anderson was also very good and believable with his promos.
