#6With so many web sites to get current info I find these mags to be outdated.

1) If you're going hard-core into Coll FB, hard to beat Steele.
...The detail is pretty amazing. If anything, it's TOO MUCH info to digest.
2) I like the Lawrence mag for different reasons:
...I like having the schedules in one place.
...I like looking at the 10-year historical lines.
...There's other info like College returning production.
Anyway, if someone is betting Football in the fall, I think these two are well-worth the modest investment.Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?Comment -

#9Few follow-ups on this:
1) I do think the original Ebay offering is not bad. Ends tomorrow.
2) If you want the Steele offering, go to his website. Think you can get the paper version + the computer link + delivery for $20.
3) Lastly, in looking at my archives I actually have a spare 2023 Marc Lawrence Playbook. If anyone wants it, PM me and I'll mail it to you. I'll even throw in a blank looseleaf notebook so that you can record all your notes in there.Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?Comment -

#10According to poster OldBill the only use for this Playbook is the cover. Teams on the cover won't be winning their respective titles based upon his data. Of course as we all know: when it comes to the Super Bowl it's all about who loses to Tampa Bay. Lose to Tampa in the regular season and your SB odds are shot. Bucs play a bevy of SB favs this year too: KC, Detroit, S.F., Eagles, Cowboys, Ravens. Such a brutal schedule for Tampa Bay.Comment -

#12I heard Marc Lawrence speak at the IFBC in Costa Rica. Based on that, I wouldn't take his book for free.Comment
