Peter Marshall, 'Hollywood Squares' host, dead at 98
Peter Marshall, affable host of NBC's original 'Hollywood Squares,' dies at 98 (msn.com)

Peter had a very nice run, 5000 episodes of Hollywood Squares.
He was great with Paul Lynde (always the center square)

Wow 98 that pretty old. We crossed paths in Hollywood Fl back in the day (80s) when I was young and he was still old in a 7 Eleven of all things. He was very pleasant holding the door for me for no reason what so ever. For that reason I kind of feel bad that I assumed he died like 10 to 15 years ago.

Paul Lynde is the one that really made the show.

Yeah, back then they didn't flaunt it too much. Well, maybe Liberace did. And the media didn't dwell on it.
I think it was like Don't Ask, Don't Tell.

Struggled with alcohol and it's reported he was a mean drunk. Got sober a few years before he croaked.

He died in his sleep of a heart attack at 55.

There are some YouTube videos of his best one-liners.

Holy Shit.. Wicked storms here in CT. Flash floods, 2 people dead and 100 injured. Did you get hit with that down there? We survived up here in Wethersfield. Luckily the main storm went West of us here.

We got croaked here in Fairfield.
Vertical cloud to ground lightning strikes for an hour or so, with about four inches of rain overnight.
Knocked out my electricity and about half the county as well, not to mention Tessie Dog hates the thunder, all dogs do.
Believe it or not my sister in Jersey got it worse.

I wanted to buy a generator after Super Storm Sandy, thing is I own a condo and for me to hook up a generator I have to have it approved by the Condo Association, and all that other assorted bullshit.

I hate condo associations, if I had any warning before I bought this unit that they would be this anal, and crooked I might add, I would have bought real a house.
