I went to a 7's tourney here in Carson this spring It's wild. The Fijian women were...well I wouldn't want to meet them in a bar fight let's put it that way.

Not that I give a shit but fake medal count? The word "medal" also applies to silver and bronze medals, doesn't it? Why wouldn't all medals be counted?

They never have been counted as all worth the same by any of the other 108 countries involved in over 100 years. Until US media decided the first loser and participation medals were all worth the same as golds when China beat USA.

Gold is all that matters. The others just tie breakers.

New Zealand wins 19-12 but the thread title was right about Nth American rugby 7s. Both played way above expectations for silver and bronze.

Could see the game really picking up in Canada after this. One of the few sports I think the women can play as entertainingly as the men.

It wasn't from the Olympics, but I briefly saw highlights of a woman who ran over opponents at will like an NFL fullback

I'm not sure, but I think it was rugby
She was big, but fast, and enjoyed her job

Not sure. They don't usually have the really big rugby players on the 7s team as this version needs speed more.

Jonah Lomu is the rugby dude who just runs over people. This one is in his first world cup game, right near the start, when he just walked over the England fullback like the guy had no clue how to tackle. He was still almost unknown. He murdered the English defense. It was awesome live.

He is scary

The one I saw was definitely a woman, but I have no idea where or when it was

She was throwing people off her and bulldozing them, and she looked pretty fast for her size

I wonder if she's single????
