CK was part of the SBR 'second wave'
CK and my join dates were less than a week apart, 2011.
There was a surge of newbies in 2011-2012.
CK was all right by me.Comment -

#50Originally posted by TankoI was informed this morning that he passed away.
I know some of you did not get along with him but many of us were his friend. He used to post on SBR regularly as well as on other forums. Quite a few of you that remember him are still around so I thought I would let you know.
I apologize that I have no details to provide.
RIP my friend.
RIP, Ckid. Sorry to hear of his passing. Wish this would have played out better.Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?Comment -

#54Originally posted by Doug tushyterrorThe cretin has been exposed across the street for the self-righteous doucheturd he's always been. Only good for 2 things, virtually wetting Johnny's whistle, & getting shit on by Eddy Munny for it, without ever responding back.
I'm sure the site had CK's real name/info/location which would have given more clues.

#60Guys, As Franklee indicated and in a PM I received from Chucky, he was hoping to have someone get in touch with CK when he was sick. This is completly understandable since we are a sort of online forum family. Chucky did not realize a few of us were working diligently to do just that for severals days/weeks.
The personal information for CK was not readily available. Even after I finally obtained his real name and made dozens and dozens of calls to hospitals, rehab clinics, county clerk office, jails, called people with similar names in the area hoping to find a relative, etc.... and completed a search online in a variety of people-locating services and on social media, I found very little information on him or his status. I think some hospitals will not give out any information on patients if they request it to be confidential and that could have been part of the problem.
Finally, I don't think we need to roast Chucky any more on this topic. He was frustrated since there was no information readily available. He and I have apologized to each other and do not have animosity towards each other. I hope everyone will move on.
CK and I were friends and spoke a lot online and through emails. I am very sad at his passing and missing the opportunity to meet him in person. Please keep him in your thoughts.
I'm sure he's betting steam at a sportsbook in heaven.Comment -

Small pieces of a larger puzzle can give posters an unfair and wrong impression of another posters true intentions. Seemingly unfair to say the least.
I’m sorry for your loss Tanko and to all that knew CK. I’m sure he would have appreciated the efforts made to find out about him as well as the passion and caring that was displayed.
All the best.Comment -
