Lawrence Butler hit three HR's.
I admit it, I have never heard of the guy until now.

He never played college ball.
He was drafted out of HS (6th round, A's) when he was 18
He's 24 now.

I looked at his minor league resume.
There's nothing in there to even suggest he'd have this kind of day in AAA ball, let alone MLB.

Every dog has his day, this puppy had a career day.
Good on the New Jersey kid, he's got a story for his grandkids in 50 years.

Not a problem.
Oakland has a few pieces, I'm totally aware of what Brent Rooker is doing out there, he's a bona fide masher.
So, when I saw when Oakland hung a 12 burger on Philly (18 total) the first thing that popped into my head was "Rooker must be going off"

Then I noticed it was some kid leading off that hit three out so far, I was like "WTF"
