Elly De La Cruz hits a baseball to the Riverboat Deck
The spring training buzz was De La Cruz has pop, but not this kind of pop.

"He went to the Steamboat, atop the batter's eye. No Mercy!"

I love Elly, his brother Bryan in Miami is just as talented.
I think there's like five brothers that play baseball.
The Dominican's just keep on producing MLB stars.

Elly does need to tone it down though, too cocky that pisses some people off.
      He'll learn, he's still a baby.

I've watched a lot of Elly De La Cruz on Bally Sports Ohio. He's never come off as cocky in my opinion. Honestly, it just looks like he's having a good time.

          Yeah, I tend to agree.
I do have trouble with his "I'm the most exciting player in baseball" remark last week.
*But* I may be taking that out of context since I only read the quote and did not hear it.

I didn't know he said that. I pay attention to play only and by the time interviews roll around, I'm out.

              Ditto.
              Words are just that, words.

Reminds me of the great Sam Waterston (Jack McCoy) quote.
