    Terrific MLB mid-week series
    Baltimore v. NY Yankees

Three games at the Big Ball Orchard in the South Bronx.
Yankees get Gerrit Cole back tomorrow in that highly anticipated start.
4pm game on Thursday, the temperatures are expected to be in the 98-104 degree range.
I've caught games in 100-degree weather before, it's a little slice of heaven I tell you what.

Personally, I think Baltimore right now is the AL team to beat.
Yankees lineup from Stanton, Rizzo, Torres on down is a stinky rubber fire that can't be counted on in the clutch for nothing.

Orioles win this series two games to one IMO

The O's used to get so pumped up for a trip to NY that they were a play against in the series before and after as favorites.
Can't imagine much has changed but I am going way back.

      Stanton's useless.
      He just did it again.
Two on, two out, you can guess the rest.

Gerrit Cole just gave up a tater tot to a Punch and Judy utility infielder (Ramon Urias)

He was sharp early, then, not so sharp.

Judge out, Stanton is in the three hole.
(Do I need to say anything else)?

        4-1 Birdies 6th inning

          Rubber match.

          4pm.
It's going to be at least 94 degrees game time.
It's 86 degrees right now, and it's not quite noon yet.

Luis Gil, keep an eye on him.
Legit Cy Young candidate, 9-1 has been pretty much automatic.

          Birdies start a lefty.
          Cole Irwin.
          Yanks don't hit lefties well.

          Betting line stinks.
I kind of like the O's. but I need more than +130.

Looks like Boone is messing with the lineup again today.
Stanton at cleanup, DJ hitting fifth, Torres sixth.

Stanton is starting to come around.
DJ is spent, his bat speed isn't there anymore.
Torres's head ain't screwed on right at the plate, he's still lost.
I still like Torres, but he's confused, he's swinging at the lowballs on his ankles.

              Holy smokes!
Gil got pummeled in the second inning.
              That was brutal to watch.

              7-0 Birdies 2nd inning.
Knocked Gil right out of the box.

He really is useless. The guy is barely a MLB player. A big contract and lump of shit mid lineup.

Man, Orioles with a serious beatdown so far.
                  Ouch.

Baltimore is going to be a tough out it October.
