Interesting tidbit on future pricing- the other day the Oilers to win the series was + 650 while the Mavs was +1200. Good chance the Oilers take the next one.

He’ll drop another “on it” before the all-star game.

Forget Johnny for a minute, the Lakers made this happen drafting Ball at #2 in 2017 ahead of Tatum.

It still goes back to Johnny as he was "on it" for Lakers to take Tatum.

Add Brown, who many thought was a reach at 3. Personally I was holding my breath praying he was their choice. The man always had talent and upside, but that dude is an absolute beast physically. Off season commitment. Glad he got his due.

Props on your comments, Mad. I'll chime in with a few summary notes from the season:

                  1) Nobody won more $$ on the Mavericks than me. I wish luke-warm for the Finals. I thought they had a chance. But the secret was now out of the bag. Mavericks were fairly public b4 Game One of the Finals.

                  2) Salud to Madison's comment about preparation and conditioning. At any level of athletics, I'd argue that results are a function of: 10% Natural Ability + 90% Conditioning (and Sport-specific Skill preparation). The Celtic were a well-oiled machine. Doncic accumulated dings by the end of the season. If his (lack of) conditioning contributed to subpar play, that's on him.

                  3) The Maverick Finals performance left me feeling empty. That was NOT their best effort. Go back to how much tougher the Western bracket was. Mavs beat the Clips and then had to go thru two heavy-weights: OKC + MIN. If MIN was exhausted after the DEN series, then it's fair to say that DAL was exhausted after the MIN series.

Props to the Celtics. Raise banner #18. Well-deserved.
Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?

Ha I forgot they took ingraham in 2016 ahead of Brown who was in their backyard at Berkeley.

Thom O. still has JV beat with the "No way Patriots select a QB in the first round" prop.

That was a burial and the QB ended up mush too.

Do not say Berkeley is in the backyard of LA. 😡

                            That’s Warriors country!

Without an untimely Kawhi injury, which is becoming an annual tradition with the guy, the real NBA Finals would have been the Clippers vs. the Celtics. We'll never know how it would've turned out but it wouldn't have ended in five.

I would have settled for Denver-Boston.

I was only tuning into the end of the series to see whether or not Luka would bust a vein whining about some irrelevant touch foul.

Kawhi has more injuries than Imelda Marcos has shoes
