Lets be honest, a "Canadian" team wins the Cup every year, but Edmonton is loaded with Canadian players this year.
What they arent loaded with is good goaltending....edge to Panthers & Brobrovsky in that dept.
How Oilers were able to win the final game in the conference final with 10 SOG is beyond me.

Im leaning Florida (-125) for the series & I sprinkled $20 on Z.Hyman to win MVP at 100 to 1.

Panthers only -137 right now for Game 5 at all the books above? I smell something shitty here. I don't make anything out of travel usually but if one team is more prepared for it, That would be Edmonton. Then sprinkle in they have the 2 best offensive players in this series. BTW the only time I put traveling into my capping is.. I always bet against the home team that just got back home from a long road trip and it doesn't matter the sport.. NHL, NBA, or MLB when a team is on the road for a week or more, Always bet against the home team when they play there first game at home. Trust me on this. This usually doesn't happen in the Finals in any of the sports. It just did.

The only down side is the Oilers also r on an 8 hour flight. I think the Oilers win next game and we may not crown a champ before the start of the NHL season in 2025.

NBA used to have angles like this. I always wondered if it held up over time. But there is logic to what you say:

*Home after a long Road Trip. Say after a Road Trip of 6+ games.
...That normally implies cross-country travel. Think about when you travel. Jet-lag is real, I normally feel like I need a day-off to recover from the travel.
...Overseas travel is worse. Athletes that travel for competition use a formula grid. One day of rest for each time zone crossed.
...It's not insane to say that athletes get leg-weary after travelling on jets 6x in two weeks.

I got the Panthers tonight to close it out at +105. I think they are feeling the pressure because of the collapse really in the last few games. If they don't close it out tonight, I think it really gets in their head and game 7 will be a giant disappointment for the south Florida folks.
