    Hedging Oilers Cup bet
Bought the Oilers in November at 12-1. I'm looking to hedge around 10% with Dallas series price now at +170.

The place offering the best line at the moment is the place I made the bet.

Would a book care about this at all? Or is there any point where a book would care that you're ensuring a profit and not riding it out?

    Books don't care.
    Usually.

I do it all the time.

I don’t think they will care. They’d probably prefer you on both ends of a bet and mitigate some of the loss- either side. See what they will let you do and check back in. I have a future on the Oilers at +500 and +380 but am riding it out.

Correction: one at +500 and +480.
