who wins the cup?

Though the last 8 Presidents Trophy winner couldn’t get past the 2nd round, I have the finals as Rangers v. Jets. And hoisting the Cup will be the Rangers.

Interesting tidbits

Rangers were even on 5 on 5 play all season. They rely too much on the pp and in the playoffs a pp can go dry quickly.

Canes are way overpriced vs isles. They should win but the isles are a very similar type of team.

Vegas and Dallas will probably go 7.

Books like the Jets ALOT. They are basically a coin flip to win and it's mostly because the AVS goaltending is not up to par.

Edmonton plays the kings again. Not sure what to make of it but I guess EDM in 6.

Lots of people like the predators. I actually thought a few weeks back at +3500 to win the western conference that was a good ticket but that's gone now. That should be a good series vs the Canucks.

Leafs vs Boston another classic rivalry. Can't see the Leafs winning but no value in this series.

Books are giving the lightning a decent shot vs Florida but tb isn't up to snuff. Sure they have experience etc but they don't play well 5 on 5 and they give up too many chances. Florida got there slump out of the way and are ready to make a run to get back to the finals and win it this time. At least that's what they have been quietly on a mission for all season.

I think the Oilers will be in the finals this season and they win it. They are pretty stacked and this Skinner guy looks like he is the answer to the problems they had in the past.
