#5not Purdue, they got all their huge chokes to big favorites out of their system last 3 years
remember when Virginia lost to a 16 seed to make history just the wrong kind then came back and found a way to win the title next year?
let's be honest you prob forgot that Virginia won a title... it wasn't memorable

#7I'll chime in on this. Going to be AWFULLY hard to beat Pur/Conn straight-up.Originally posted by johnnyvegas13Ok what about UConn or Houston ???
If a team goes down, I think it will be HOU. As for how the Aggies could do it? Not sure, but they did play inspired last out.Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?Comment -

#9Interesting game. Many Lousiana and Texas kids on both squads. I’m sure they know each other. Houston to A&M is about 1.5 hours. I used to drive the old 290-6 from Houston to College Station.Originally posted by ChuckyTheGoatI'll chime in on this. Going to be AWFULLY hard to beat Pur/Conn straight-up.

#10Beautiful route. I love all the non interstate routes. You find a nice mom and pop shop to eat etc.Originally posted by mjsuax13Interesting game. Many Lousiana and Texas kids on both squads. I view the situational edges too strong for PUR/Conn. But I think it's more of an even playing field for TxAM versus HOU. Houston's first year in Big12, (in theory) teams on equal-footing.Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?Comment -

#14i have zona v purdue in my bracket final a year after zona at 2 lost to 15 seed in first rd last year and purdue lost as 1 seed to 16.Originally posted by ThaTopMoronnot Purdue, they got all their huge chokes to big favorites out of their system last 3 years

#15I hate looking at their December game because the tourney is a different but A&M kept it close (70-66) without a key player in Radford. Should be an inspired battle between 2 neighbors.Originally posted by ChuckyTheGoatYou make a very good point. That ties out to my logic.

#19Johnny, you do make some good points. Here's how I see it:Originally posted by johnnyvegas13I am now thinking two one seeds go down today
*Pur/Conn are priced to the moon.
...I don't know how anyone lays those prices today.
...The situational factors are too strong for the Favs to lose Outright IMHO.
a) PUR: will be focused. They don't want another Matt Painter NCAA failure.
b) CONN: NWern figures to be tired. 2nd game playing w/o the 7'0" center.
*TxAM/Hou is the more equitable matchup.
...Aggies have athletes.
...HOU is better. Can they beat them in a one-off game?Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?Comment -

Dont see Duke being physical enough to beat Houston.
Best chance will be the Zags over Purdue. Taking the +5 seems a plus.Comment
