Not as strong as the FAU play but I think this is a good time to back Memphis as a short fave who has spent the better part of the season underachieving yet seems to have gotten it clicking. This is Penny’s m.o., eff around all year then get into peak form when it’s too late.
This is not the first time this year I’ve thought “ok they’re clicking” but at this point, if you’re gonna click, you gotta click now right? And I have confidence that they WILL click at some point, which essentially means they’ve clicked now. Get it?
I do get a little nervous laying any amount of points with this team, but I think they’ll be good here. You can even take their moneyline or put it in a PAH-LAY or something. Whatever you wish. I’ll take my chances with the -4.5.
