I think he'll be pretty good. The Bears have a defense that doesn't lay down and get trampled over every time they take the field like the Trojans D did... he'll have the luxury of not feeling like every possession is a must score situation.

If Fields goes to ATL and the Falcons take Odunze or Nabers, to go along with Pitts, London, and Bijan, and the offensive line remains intact, that offense could go from dreadful to the league's best overnight.

Caleb Williams is a NFL bust. At his worst he's Zach Wilson, at his best he's Dak Prescott.

Gotta give the Steelers credit. They completely change their offense with a minimum salary and a 4th or 6th round pick. Smart, working class type franchise.
Fields comes in on 2nd or 3rd down sometimes like New Orleans does? Or even 1st now and then?
And while Wilson can run, it's the perception of what they might do that makes the defense guess. Probably opens the run up for Wilson to some degree. Maybe make the defense overthink themselves into a bad situation? I like it.

I'd start Fields personally, especially with a shaky offensive line, but I guess people are still confident old Russ will emerge.

Not a bad way to look at it. If I had to guess, I’d say that he is better than people think. Guess time will tell.

Wilson won't last. Fields will be the starter before long and will probably take them to a Super Bowl within the next 3 seasons.
