What are all these German soccer fans protesting about? Two games have had numerous stoppages for fans throwing tennis balls and garbage on to the pitch but the announcers only say they are protesting not what they are protesting about?

Big institution invests in league. First thing they will do is raise ticket prices, jersey prices, beer prices, concessions, etc. Basically don't want to become like NFL where fans can't afford to go to games except the rich.

They have a law where the fans have to own at least 50% of each club. They see this outside investment as a threat.
