i contend the last night's game between SF and KC was one of the best super bowls i have ever seen.

That's sad. I don't even think it was a great game. It was a good game. It was tightly contested, but that in itself doesn't make it great. There's close games every week in the NFL.

Where were the memorable plays? Who were the memorable players outside of the obvious Mahomes? I don't recall any heroic catches or jaw dropping runs. What was the signature moment that people will recall 5 years from now? It's honestly a blunder on special teams that swung the game... that's your signature moment, either that or Kelce checking his own coach.

There were as many sloppy plays as peak ones. You'd have thunk the teams had been off a month entering the game.

I'm still having nightmares from that run and game!......greatest super bowl moment in my life was when John Riggins scampered 42 yards on 4th and 1 for a TD! (and in the process absolutely trucked and ran over Don McNeal!)...the beauty of that run which symbolized Joe Gibbs teams back in that era is that a lot of teams would stack the box with 8 or 9 because they knew what was coming and they still couldn't stop it!...
the most pivotal and key play to the Redskins 27 - 17 victory in super bowl XVII over the Miami Dolphins!...and yes Homie, once more time for old time's sake....Hail to the Redskins!!!

SB sucks, literally fell asleep when they were down 10-0. Woke up to mahomes ofc holding the trophy after OT. KC has played from behind every bowl so it didn't matter I guess. Coin toss didn't matter either but fake espn analysis tried to make something out of nothing because the game was so boring. I am surprised with the back 2 back fumbles from kc rb while down 10, the best throw was probably the pass right before the fumble on 1st and goal but not sure since I stopped watching. game sucks the games leading up to wild card/wild card/playoffs are all better than sb.

The game was well coached on both sides with plenty of back n forth with not much ref involvement. There was not too many WOW plays but the stakes are so high and the strategy aspect is missed by more than 95% of the viewers including much of you in this thread. It was one of the better superbowls from a football perspective. I did not watch the adverts or halftime.

funny thing is I had San Fran (-2.5) and now I feel somewhat relieved and vindicated because Patrick Mahomes just said if the 49'ers would have scored a TD on that opening drive of OT, the chiefs would have gone for the win and two point conversion! So either way, I would have lost my wager by laying the points. something to seriously consider for all of us degens moving forward in the future. with all of these analytics geeks basically taking over the game, teams aren't going to do it the conventional way anymore and play it close to the vest. they are going to be more aggressive and more willing to take risks. which will result in some awkward scores. no such thing as crossing key numbers anymore (at least not as much as the media and so-called touts would lead you to believe)
