    Help me understand this bet
I bet over 22.5 games on this tennis match. The sportwbook is telling me I lost and there were only 20 games. Am I crazy? The total games played was 49 over three sets.

CHALLENGER MEN - DOUBLES: Ottignies-Louvain-la-Neuve (Belgium), hard (indoor) - Quarter-finals

I am going nuts because they keep telling me I'm wrong.

The book is right it’s 19 games entering the tie break which counts as 1 so 20 total penetrating sucks but it is what it is

The 11-9 tiebreak counts as 1 game not 20

I believe they are saying you lost because the last one is the tiebreaker right? So those are not games just points. So 19 in the actual match and 20 in the tiebreak which they are i guess not counting. Do they have anywhere in the rules that say the tiebreak (The 11-9) does not count? At least thats what i am guessing they are doing.

Obviously the tiebreaker counts as a single game; in a format like this, I don't know if I could ever bet over if the total is 22.5.

If you bet the total in an NHL game and its 1-1 and goes to a shootout and a team wins 3-2 in the shootout, you think that should count as 7 goals for the total?

I've bet tennis before and never had this happen. The only tiebreaker I am familiar with is when a set is tied and they go into a tiebreaker. I've always the third set count towards the total.

I think its because in doubles there is normally not a 3rd set . If tied they go into the tiebreaker at 1-1. I may be wrong i barely touch doubles.

That's like betting an over in soccer and counting the extra time goals or the penalty shootout goals in the over.

Yeah, 13 games is the max you can get out of any set. Women's is best out of 3. Men's is best out of 5.

The tie break "set" in doubles is who ever goes to 10 points or wins by 2.
