    Djokovic's odds against Fritz
It's extremely hard for me to see Novak losing against Fritz, I mean come on, the guy is a legend, in a normal tournament anything can happen and he might not play his best but in tournaments like the Aussie Open I can't imagine Djokovic losing here.

Still, the odds are not 1.01 on Djokovic and 19.00 on Fritz, it's 1.10 against 9.00 - why?

I feel like this could go into 4 and 5 sets, and this 1.10 on Djokovic could easily go up to be 1.40 or even 1.80 at peak against Djokovic, perhaps Fritz can take the 1st set here and then break Novak in the 2nd and win the next game and then the odds would climb really high on Djokovic.

So I don't have a practical bet on this game other than not betting the low odds of 1.10 and bet on Djokovic, in live, with higher odds.

Now Djokovic can be Djokovic and cruise again through Fritz, perhaps, but the odds themselves don't make me feel confident about this scenario.

Who else thinks the same and going to bet on it in live if the odds would be more generous?

I made my second tennis bet ever last night in the wee hours of the morning on who I like to call "Alcatraz". He was a plus at minus 8.5 games and went 6-0 last set. It was looking like a loser but he went off last set.

Being a rook in this, I will let you know what I come up with on the Joker match if anything.

Djokovic Wins Match + Both Players Win A Set is +125 at Bet365

Not sure Joker would get as high as +125 ML even if Fritz wins first set?

Final winner for sure but because their record is so crushing (8-0), still in 2021 these guys met in Australia and played full 5 sets, where Djokovic won 6-2 in the 5th set. Does it mean it will repeat itself? I don't know, anything is possible, but I definitely agree with you Djokovic should win this, just looking for better value for the risk.

Not a chance. Djokovic is -500 now, two sets are over and the only break belongs to Fritz!

Unlucky for Fritz who's foot seemed a bit hampered after the second set and allowed too many second serves but Djokovic at one point only committed 4 UE after that 2nd set loss (compared to 21 in sets 1 & 2) which probably surprises no one at this point when he raises his level after a dip. He had two easy wins late last year so something had to give and Fritz had to try something different. Which feels the case in their h2h where its either a easy quick one or becomes a battle depending on how Fritz players. Doesn't feel like he has the movement to trouble Novak, unless Novak is having an off day. And even if he is its no guarantee. But he had a better go this time compared to those US losses last year.
Interesting to see if they play at Indian Wells or Miami Fritz will fancy his chances.

Understandably the betting seemed to be a matter of three sets or four...in a QF match you expect both guys to bring the heat and Fritz did his best in that regard.

So are you guys expecting a Djokovic Sinner rematch? They played twice just a while ago, one time Sinner won....

If it's Djoker Rublev then it would be an easy cruise for Nole to reach the finals... I somehow think if this was all "rigged" and "planned" (lol) then bookmakers would have much more to profit from a Djokovic - Sinner match in the semi finals than having Rublev there.
