The volatility in the NBA can take years off your life. That league has some of the wildest swings that occur fairly regularly.

This is why I don’t even look at NBA lines. It’s impossible to handicap crooks.

Did the coach put the bench warmers the last 5 min. Sometimes they do that on purpose to not cover the spread. It depends with what the books want.

Not extremely unusual in today's NBA.

Wild swings are there to bait the general public for live betting. And books somewhat knew the outcomes in advance.

Timberwolves collapsing on there on home court against the hornets must be one of the worst ever.

Live betting is so easy. Books don't know jack. Why do you think they need to deal 30 cent lines, and can still be beat easily.

I can’t believe I’m actually considering putting OKC in my ML parlay tonight. Didn’t OKC win by 50 points last time they met???

Oh, I’m sorry OKC. You won two weeks ago 139-77. 62 points. Didn’t mean to short you.

Sometimes the fix is done to help the players and coaches that make minimum salary. So Lebron for example tells the guy on a minimum contract to put all his paycheck on the Lakers not covering and then he makes sure the last couple minutes to not make anyshots and not cover. So a -11 all of a sudden didn't cover became a 7 point final game and everyone goes home happy and no one suspects a thing.

Your guy Towns blew it at the end. Could have shocked the world with 64 points w/ a game winner

Nothing to do with fixing. It was about stupid kids showing contempt for the game, the coach, the system, the opponent in a bid to get their man more points. Coach Finch called it disgusting. Right on coach.

                                You'll never see a European (i.e Doncic/ Jokic/ Markkanen) do that nonsense.

The minimum paycheck n the NBA is probably six figures; where is this guy going to get down for that much without drawing suspicion, if at all?

Case in point. Doncic reaches 70+, and the Hawks begin trapping him. He accepts and passes to open teammates for threes. Finishes with 73 and the Mavs win as road dogs. Most NBA players would try to find a way to score without getting trapped so that they could reach 80.
