Traditionally, warm weathered and dome teams have done horrible in outdoor stadiums and in cold, inclement weather. I remember way back in the 80's - 90's the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were something like 0 - 43 in temperatures below freezing (32 degrees and below)! Tomorrow in Kansas City temps are supposed to be 8 degrees with 10 - 15 mph winds with a wind chill factor of 10 below. Some forecasts are predicting maybe even colder and possibly breaking the all-time record for coldest game. As we speak, the Dolphins have lost 10 straight games when the temperature is 40 or below. (the longest active streak in the NFL). If that wasn't enough to convince you, how about this nugget. Tua has lost all 5 of his coldest starts in his career. his stats are pedestrian with a 57% completion percentage, 5 td's, 7 int's in those games. Furthermore, he is 23 - 4 in games above 70 degrees, and only 6 - 13 in games under 70! and factor in all of Miami's injuries and with temps near 0 degrees, it's not to hard to figure out why the number has skyrocketed to Chiefs (-4.5) at most books now. and even that might be too low. anything less than a TD, KC is the play.

I think the weather is not going to be a factor in a playoff game unless all Miami players were born and raised in Miami and never lived outside their city in their life. I don't have the roster in front of me but they probably have players on roster who were born and raised up north or played college in Michigan or Penn St or Wisconsin where is cold in winter.
