He was really funny in that era. They had an hour variety show on at prime time.
They were a big deal for a while.

Another Classic Comic Shecky Green Past Away my Parents loved him.Was on the Tonight show with Johnny and was always at the track.I have signed program from Hollywood Park from Him.Of course no one under 50 would no who he is. Rodney ,Shecky and Buddy Hackett were so much better in person my dad said once then on Tv

Good stuff, **. It's hard to find a great comedian. Rodney was one of a kind.
