Two trends to consider:

1) People know about these Academy totals going Under.
...The trends are known. People are pretty handcuffed to going Under or Pass.

2) One thing I picked up on for this year. Both Army/Navy are averaging more Pass Yards per game than normal. About 100 ypg each.
...Doesn't sound like much. Could be a factor.
...In the past, these teams effectively ran identical offenses. If the Triple Option is what you're running in practice, the defense is going to be very well-prepared for those plays
...Could be a little more wide-open. Consider the trend from item 1 and reduced #. Very hard to get this Under home.

Going to bet it live. If it goes down a TD, I'll take the over. If it goes up to about 31.5 or 32, I'll take the under.

These teams exploded for 37 last year. I think the world rights itself tomorrow and under is the play.

I second Nash. These 2 teams run offenses suited for a low scoring game, but they also plan big plays due to the rivalry. The low total can be misleading. Like ActionDan, I too, had the under last year and got the burn. I don't know. If I don't have much of an angle its a no bet.

Why did this game's total go down so.much this year?

Is it because of all the Iowa games conditioning the market to low totals?
Prior years this game is a stand-alone novelty.. Other 2 service academy games not as low scoring consistently

I'm starting to think the under was dead money before the opening kickoff.
Who knows, there may be some fireworks in the 2H, but I can't see it.
