i've found over the years that i'm best at football. i don't know why, maybe because i love the sport the most. i never really played it

once a dog or fav gets over about 500 (+500 or -500) you're almost ALWAYS better taking the points. I know Steve Fezzik goes on about his Purdue -10000 play in the ncaa basketball tourney how it's smart, but it's not. because you can't tell me -10000 and +4000 works mathematically, which is what they do. that's 60x hole for the book as juice. for live you almost always want to take points unless it's under +300/-300, live they juice the hell out of it

yeah gotta know your sport. a lot of wasted cash i have on sports i was never good at. strangely though as i've gotten better at football i'm more able to pick out the other sports

so many bettors, including on radio, say PLUS MONEY! which seems great...except when you're talking about betting $250 and getting either $490 or $550 back, who cares really. you've GOT to consider what you might give up

i've lost a lot of -180s learned it's just stupid. take the spread

great example the chargers spread. -3.5 or -185. low-scoring game. i'd love to take the ml, it was too high. for a normal game it's fine. but i told myself there is no f ing way herbert vs wilson that the chargers don't smoke the jets. bosa is playing, they got guys on that team that can eat wilson for lunch. jets overall have the better team, but we're talking about the most underrated qb in the league herbert vs probably the most overrated at the time (wilson), it's not even remotely close. it was much more competitive than i expected, thought it was a blowout. got lucky on turnovers, cashed. ended up with a lot more than i get if it's -185.

we have a different story on Sunday coming up, got my eye on a game

probably talking too much, but i don't take a game unless i think they win by 7+ over the spread. so if i end up losing, unless it's real unlucky (which happens), it's my fault, and i learn what i did wrong.

if you learn what you did wrong, you'll succeed. that's the only way anyone will succeed in this, in my opinion.
