    Harden traded to Clippers
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">The Sixers are acquiring Marcus Morris, Nic Batum, Robert Covington, KJ Martin, multiple draft picks and a pick swap for James Harden, PJ Tucker and Filip Petrusev, sources tell ESPN. <a href="https://t.co/fSOkgO5xd3">https://t.co/fSOkgO5xd3</a></p>&mdash; Adrian Wojnarowski (@wojespn) <a href="https://twitter.com/wojespn/status/1719242635972337916?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw" >October 31, 2023</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

    The picks are
    Unprotected first (2028)
    Protected first via OKC (2026)
and another pick swap and few 2R picks (or something like that)

    Clippers hold on to Mann

Where do the Clippers rank now in the West ?

Too bad James Harden is at the end of his career and almost finished. If he comes in fat again he will do nothing for the Clippers.

Can’t believe Clippers gave so much in return for this 34 year old clown

Harden & Westbrook HATE each other.

        A+ Trade for Philly

Philly cleared cap space for next season but I don't see what the Clippers gave up? Draft picks that don't pan out?

Harden and Westbrook are cancers on teams. This should be fun to watch. See who blows up the locker room first? Lol...

It's a good trade for Philly because they gave up a player that wasn't going to play for them

                Getting anything was a win

They'll be an interesting team for sure. I don't think it'll be a dumpster fire like everyone thinks. They're deep enough that they don't have to run their older guys into the ground, but they do need to stay healthy. Everyone on this team always seems to have a residence on the injury report and you can't build chemistry if your rotations are changing on a nightly basis.

I think they respect each other... like all NBAers they love each other AFTER they get split up, and it's the fault of the media or the coach or anyone else for driving them apart. Reunited now (again!), and I agree it's not going to work.

Not sure the Sixers got a great deal -apparently ownership forced the hand of Morey because of the PR nightmare. On the other hand they had only one suitor... and what happens if that lone suitor disappears? They're fcuked! People praise Morey for his patience in these matters but to hold out several months for a tiny bit more, as a default strategy, is high-risk/ low reward.

I don't see anyone beating the Nuggets. They will be even better this year. Dynasty in the making.

All these teams thinking they were one piece away... pitiful.

Yes good point. Seems the holdup was for Mann and Clippers kept him so he got nothing more in the end

It seems they got enough assets though to make a move for someone like Zach Lavine

just an insurance policy against oft injured kawhi and paul.

                                      that is it.

harden a great regular season scorer in quarters 1 through 3.

so unclutch in the 4th quarters.

rarely makes the big shots late game. rarely.

                                      cannot play defense worth doo-doo.

                                      however..............

he is in a contract year so maybe just maybe he will play some D.

net negative teammate in my opinion.

                                      eff him

Nick Nurse says James Harden worked hard, was in shape, was extremely professional and “looked awesome” in his time with the Sixers when he was with them over the past few weeks.

These penetrating liberal c0(k suckers you have in the states... he demanded a trade and was holding out! Total disregard for the Collective Bargaining Agreement -what's the point in having one? Ought to be Collective Bargaining Suggestions or Guidelines.

^ James Harden is a journeyman now jumping from team to team. He use to be a franchise player. He wants to go to other teams because he is a diva and teams let him go for a reason. Much like Dwight Howard.

okay, but it did not do much good in the NBA playoffs.

he showed up clutch for one game.

                                                    that was it.

true but embid was hurt most of the playoffs and battling through.

both are pretty unclutch but now they are separated and we will find out how good they are separated.

Well Clippers got better unless you think Harden is completely washed up (I don't). The players they gave up ARE washed up but they are on expiring contracts so the team that got them can flip them + draft picks for someone like Zach Lavine or maybe even OG Anunoby. So Philly got better too since they got off from a player that was never going to play for them again

The irony that the player that refused to play for Philly that Morey traded for Harden is exactly who Harden became though Morey himself is partly (completely?) to blame for that maybe
