lowest mlb seed to win a world series
    2014 San Francisco Giants

    • But the only team in the expanded playoff era to win the wild card game as the lower seed and end up winning the World Series was the 2014 San Francisco Giants. Riding the arm of Madison Bumgarner, the Giants beat the Pittsburgh Pirates in the WC game and rolled all the way to a World Series title, beating the Kansas City Royals in seven games.

now we have added 12 teams in playoffs so we now have a 6th seed

so the odds of d backs winning vs Rangers aint good

It would just cap the last year in terms of shitty championships where the opponent is garbage and has no shot
        Georgia vs tcu
        Nuggets vs heat
        Uconn vs San Diego state
        Knights vs panthers
        Possible
        Texas vs dbacks

Eagles and chiefs at least was good

This list of championship matchups is the number 1 worst of all time

2004 was the closest I could find and I would say that still wasn’t close
