I don't like to cry fix but that decision is just fukkin ridiculous; 50 seconds to go and they still need two scores regardless so the game is over and it makes no difference. Makes 1% of me wonder if the Navy coach got AFA at the closer of -10.5.

Ya. Total dead #. If anything, I think you KICK it.

Imagine 7 + 3 + 7 = 17.

1) You got the 7.
2) If you get the onside kick, you may try to kick the LONG fg.
3) You still need time to throw the Hail Mary.

Realistically, that xtra pt had no outcome on the game. Just the Spread. You kick the XPt and make it 17-7.
