    Iowa - Minnesota Over/Under 30.5?
    Is this real life?

If they average 8 points a quarter they'll clear the total.

That's just shameful. If Vegas ever sets a total at 30.5 in a game in which you're a participant, the OC should automatically be fired. Those would be part of my terms as a head coach. You should never let your offense sink to such lows.

I don't think it's any sort of sucker-line. Just think those are the fundementals:

      1) Iowa is a pedestrian offense with QB/TE injuries.
      2) Iowa has a GREAT punter. He regularly flips the field to put Opponent on a long field.
      3) Iowa defense is good (but not great). MINN qb is not an accurate passer.
Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?

Nah, just what Chucky said pretty much. But Iowa's offense was stuck in mud even with their original QB/TE. I think Vegas is simply tired of paying out on people who auto-bet Unders on these teams' respective games. So now of course both take the same field and create a vortex of suckitude that sets offenses back to the stone age.

Just give these teams leather helmets and televise the game in black & white. I think that would be fitting.

Get the bands playing Star Wars music in between 2 yards and a cloud of dust. Off tackle for 1 yard. Up the middle for 2 yards. Pass incomplete. 14-13. 22 seconds left. Bad snap by LS recovered in end zone by punt return team. 20-14 final.

They can't set these totals low enough without feeling exposed on some level.

With Iowa's upcoming slate, we may very well see a sub-30 line.

Watching the Nebraska game now. It has 26 points scored and only 8 minutes left. So it can go under 30.5.

I took the under 32.5 in this Iowa-Minny game in the SBR contest because both offenses are god awful and Iowa's backup QB really sucks ass. (McNamara is out). Also both defenses are still respectable. and Gophers QB Athan Kalmanikas (sp?) god bless his Hellenic soul, has no business being a Division-1A starting QB. I figured a 13 - 10 type of game and looks like it's going to be right in that ballpark. Also when I see fishy numbers like that, I always defer to the old handicapping adage "The number is set like that for a reason". When in doubt, always assume and trust that Vegas knows what they are doing!

Yes, but I'm referring to the Vegas line. Never seen a sub-30 line, but at this rate it's not out of the question.

My bad. I didn't realize this thread was old. You are right. A sub-30 line would be odd.

How after watching Iowa for 10 minutes would anyone vote that pile of trash as a top 25 team?
