Showtime exiting boxing programming after 37 years in the sport
Showtime, which has been a fixture in the sport's programming for 37 years and aired some of the game's biggest fights, will exit boxing programming at the end of 2023.

For 37 years, Showtime Championship Boxing has televised some of the biggest fights in the sport, but the network will exit boxing programming at the end of 2023, Showtime's parent company Paramount Global announced in a statement Tuesday.

"As we evolve our strategy to more efficiently allocate resources and align our content offering across the business, we've made the difficult decision not to move forward with boxing and other content produced by the SHOWTIME sports team," the company said. "SHOWTIME will continue to air and support the remaining 2023 boxing slate and honor obligations through the end of the year. We want to express our deepest gratitude to our employees who have contributed to this award-winning sports programming over multiple decades."

                  clown fights Pacquiao and McGregor

mayweather didn't fight Pacquiao, pitter patter jabs. made a mockery of the sport

It's all about celebrity boxers or has beens now with PPV. Smucks buy into also. Look at Jake Paul for example. He pulls in more PPV cash then most other boxers and or boxing venues and that dude sucks.
