ABC had the hottest females of the Big 3 networks in the late 1970s and early 1980s. I never thought Suzanne was all that special, really, when compared to Farrah, Cheryl Ladd, Jaclyn Smith, Heather Locklear, Heather Thomas, and even Kate Jackson and Marilu Henner.

Bruce and Cybil were paired perfectly, no two other actors could make those roles work like that.

Before ABC took a chance on Bruce he was slinging vodka and gin in the West Village of NYC.

The writers strike killed that show, and a few others.
After the strike Bruce got major roles in Die Hard and the rest is history.

Not bad, he went straight from a NYC bartender to a Hollywood A-Lister virtually overnight.
