Ex-Dallas RB Garrison, who also did rodeos, dies

Walt Garrison, who led the Big Eight in rushing as an Oklahoma State Cowboy, won a Super Bowl with the Dallas Cowboys, and in the NFL offseason competed as a rodeo cowboy, has died. He was 79.

If you study NFL history, this guy was One of a Kind. Enjoyed life. Lived to the fullest.

RIP, Walt. Have some Skoal on me.

79, he lived a full life and then some.

I never liked the Cowboys.

But he was one of those players that you could see past the helmet and jersey and just say, "that guy can play".
