Agenda, how are you?

This has been a big talking point on the board. One valid comment I've heard ties to the QB position:

1) Watson hasn't been all that good.
2) The key point is that DTR was out of his league. Guy wasn't ready.
3) Walker promoted to starting QB. Played well in the XFL and OK at Carolina.

IMHO, the Brown defense is the real deal. All Browns need is serviceable QB play to make this a competitive game.

I think so, Agenda. Has the makings on an upset.

You are correct. It's pro football. Virtually every team stumbles.

Three obvious areas where the Browns need to show:
1) Do they have an adequate replacement for RB Chubb?
2) Can the QB position play to a COMPETENT level (where the QB doesn't give away the game)?
3) Any other injury positions that I'm missing.

I think the Off Line and Defense grade out well. In some ways, this is a great value spot:
*Public bettors = Fantasy FB players.
...When they see that the RB/QB are out, they think said team is handicapped.

Yes, agenda. This game has generated a lot of buzz on the message boards. Lot to digest.

I just played: BROWNS +10.

It looks like a crazy #. A few things:
1) It's going to be hard to WIN s/u, unless it's like 12-10.
2) I'm counting on this QB to not gift-wrap the game.
3) I know guys are out. My #1 concern is Garrett potentially missing.
...I'm counting on this guy to answer the bell. He's been raging YTD. I'm hoping that he responds to the challenge (and the treatment) to show the world what Brown football is all about.

The Bears cut Pj Walker, the BEARS, just think about that. He's a bum and will be overwhelmed by all the looks they throw at him. Brown football is running the ball and that is not going to happen. Only gets worse if the 49ers bring a safety into the box because PJ proves early he cant throw the ball for a thing. The ravens gave you a preview of what a well coached team can do against the Browns with a patchwork qb in, and their offense has been awful by comparison to the 49ers.

Browns only have a prayer if Purdy gets hurt on the first drive.
