"SOL" If u go on vacation during MGM NFL Elimination Contest

MGM Ontario has notified me that if I leave the province, I,( or a friend) may not enter a pick - an automatic elimination.. I am locked out if any VPN is detected. Appreciate the contest, but...

Must be a better solution, what if I or anyone else was leading going into the final week. Just bad business.

What's the prize to win? If it is more than the vacation cost I will postpone the vacation. If it is less I wouldn't worry about the contest.

I doubt they would make up the rule just to annoy customers.

Must be a license requirement similar to not being able to enter bets when out of state.

No different the major contests in Las Vegas. You have to be in state to enter your picks/selections. They do allow proxy’s though.

All you have to do is find a friend who you trust with your login numbers. Good luck with that. Maybe a family member who has no interest in gambling.

Thanks for replies. Sorry, I left out that it was a free 100k contest, you must have an MGM account, and the contest has a separate web site.

Like the moderator said, probably a licensing issue - it is Canada. Side note, I am very happy with MGM betting site.

Just a heads up, as this contest has thousands of entrants, I'm guessing in every licensed state.

The fucs took the contest link out of the app. I had to spend an hour telling a docile customer representative what I was looking for and wtf it wasn't on the app anymore. I did receive a link in an email so I can still make my pick.
