Healthy A-Rod could have easily beaten the Pats - that game ended up close despite Zach Wilson. My guess is that they would be 2-2 with him and not an emotional dumpster fire.

All they need is a durable quarterback who is better than a practice squadder. They do not have that at present.

That was a fluke and he was plugged into the system for a while. Back up QB's are prepared. Newbies are not.

Yes I understand that part of what you are saying and I agree for the most part. It's the tanking part that I disagree with. NFL teams have too much pride and will fight and play hard to win the game each and every week. Unfortunately for the Jets, they went "all in" with their chips on A-Rod and didn't have a backup plan. and now they are royally fukked for the rest of the year. Not really a whole lot of available and reliable options at QB out there right now.

I told my buddy 2 or 3 months ago that Rodgers and the Jets season would totally depend on how long the OL could keep him healthy. Thought it was a real possibility but never expected 4 plays.
