Johnny, I think you have a real chance. My one counter-point = the Hunter injury.

I really think he's the most impactful non-QB in the nation:

The funny thing is Johnny doesn't even answer Chuck's questions whenever Chuck is forcing the conversation i.e. something alone the lines of "Hey John, how do you think the secondary matches up against their receiving corps?"

Chucky tries to flesh out the discussion, not realizing he's talking to someone with the football savvy of a houseplant... Or maybe he does realize it and attempts to humor him anyways and win his heart with cajolery.

It's a never-ending game of Chucky chasing tail and Johnny playing hard to get.

The relationship is indeed strange and Chucky never expalined his love for Johnny. I have seen guys here go 15-0 and never get a single hello form Chucky. But Johnny wins once ever 3 months on a single play and Chucky is drooling all over him like a schoolgirl.
