Chiefs’ HC Andy Reid told reporters that Travis Kelce hyper-extended his knee at practice today and his status for Thursday night’s opener vs the Lions is uncertain.

I'm sure they are also factoring in the likely absence of Chris Jones since i doubt he signs and plays all within 48 hours.

Lions better win while Chiefs lost Travis Kelce and Chris Jones. The Lions are awful if they don't take advantage of this.

I mean they can take advantage of it but we are still talking about a Lions team that had an awful defense last year that will be starting rookies on defense against a guy who is pretty good at football. If ever the chance it would be Thursday but it's still an Andy Reid team week 1 in Kansas City

They upgraded the defense quite a bit in the offseason
