What they know is the horse should run very well that day.
That's all you can ask for.
Appreciate the info.

Q (for you, B-o-a): *What sort of ROI do you Target to make a value play on a horse?
For example, if you think a Horse is 20% to win, fair odds would be 4/1.
*In that case, do you look for 6/1 or Higher on the tote board.
Michael Pizzola talks about targeting a sizable difference, your projection vs Tote Board. Also, I don't think Pizzola plays too many favorites.Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?Comment -

#17Well, I can honestly say, not my approach (Value play) on a daily basis. I use to play Tri's, excatas, WP mostly.Originally posted by ChuckyTheGoatLike I said, you horse-guys are sharp. You can sniff out value from a mile away.

Now I'm mostly playing DD, P3's and WP.
M/L 9/5 and under Win only (early wagering) or in DD and P3's.
Now to answer your question, I generally play the same on any horse I post, 26X over 9/5 ML and play full
cards, like the Old days when that's all you could play.
If I REALLY like a horse 2060X. I'm/been in for the long haul, try my best to limit my exotic wagers to DD, P3's and Exactas once in a bluemoon.
I prefer a bread and butter "meal" of WP/ full card on every single I find , still my all time favorite wager.
Also, I Only play one track a day (For full cards) and use the Form. Not adverse to checking other races
and spot plays.
You ever need, want or desire an explanation on why I selected horse, let me know of course.
BOL Chuck, be back for CBB ML Parlays, think I finally broke the code after 47 years.Comment
