Time zone problematic… you want to get the best starting time for the major time zones … you get a bigger viewership even if you have to split between two games. This is also the reason why they stretch the games for several weeks

Agreed. Impossible to watch both games at once. They do 12:45 and 3pm est kickoffs in Group stage , why not in the more important games like today. I will end up watching the Leipzig / Real Madrid game since Man City should dominate Copenhagen

I assumed Ancelotti would put his best foot forward to win this away leg. My loyalty to German players runs deep , but I would want Modric in the heart of my team over Kroos. Diaz has very little experience at this level of competition and faces Olmos attacking at his left flank. In my opinion only , Olmos will school him all day long.

I do watch Real Madrid games. 2 games ago , Diaz had a decent game against A.Madrid. His lack of experience is why he is a sub ( as he was last game against #2 seed Girona ). So far Leipzig are playing them 50/50 and should be up 1 - 0. I totally agree with the commentators that the goal should have counted

Bayern are in need of an immediate response following a poor effort @ B. Leverkusen. Granted they have a # of injuries ( Davies , Gnabry , Coman , Laimer....... to name a few ) but a team with their depth can field a midfield consisting of Musiala , Kimmich , Goretzka and Mueller. With Kane and Sane as a partnership in the attacking 3rd , no more excuses needed.



PSG are starting to get healthy bodies back after the break and field a very strong 11 today. Real Sociedad are living off 4 defensive efforts in a row that saw them without a single goal scored ( 1 0 home loss to Osasuna and 3 goalless draws against Girona , Mallorca and R.Vallecano ). Over that 4 game stretch they acquired injuries to 4 defenders in Elustondo , Munos , Tierney and Odriozola. Mbappe should be able to find a break through goal or 2 against a patched up back line
