The game is played in Bucharest , Romania , where D.Kiev have made the stadium a regular venue due to the War effort. As expected , the fan base is minimal and home field advantage null and void. They do play a very free flowing style that transitions to offensive counter attacks with minimal touches Varnat , a 21 year old forward , has some serious speed and creates space for others with it. On paper, Besitkas is the better of the 2, and their 4 - 1 - 2 - 3 formation , suggests an attack minded side. Its a sunny and very humid 34c at game time.

The gap in individual quality between these 2 is distinct in E. Frankfurt's favor. They were a disappointment last season and brought in a # of recruits to solidify a solid base. With players like Muani , Gotze and Marmoush playing in an aggressive 4-3-3 formation , it will be expected of Frankfurt to press Levski Sofia up field. The fan base of the club , one of which was at our house 2 weeks ago for dinner , is 15,000 strong. They will provide a very vocal presence in Bulgaria.

Celta Vigo are a perennial mid table side , who have a limited budget to compete with the big boys. Their big signing was Iago Aspas 9 seasons ago. He was a sensational player in his prime , but at age 36 those glory days are fading into the distance ( 1 goal in his last 20 played ). The midfield that started and lost the home opener 0 - 2 to Osasuna , consisted of very inexperienced and raw talent. Beltran ( 24 )and Sotelo ( 19 ) were in the center of the midfield in both starts and face an uphill battle today. Real Madrid acquired Bellingham in the off season from Dortmund, and inserted him in behind Rodrygo and Viniscus. The link up play and service provided will be far beyond Celta's capability today imo
