TB's players also have an incentive to keep their jobs and there's a reason why TB is in playoff position whereas Carolina is looking at the number one pick; not saying Carolina can't win but don't bet on it.

Agreed. Carolina has clinched the #1 pick, so for the first time in a while the players have an incentive to win so they can keep their jobs for next season.

There was never a #1 pick to clinch. Carolina traded their first pick this year to Chicago to draft Bryce Young

Players also don't try to lose. They don't care about draft picks. Some of them won't even be on the team next year
