It's a pity, that Djokovic will never collect a calendar Grand Slam in his career. This year was the last opportunity, with AO and Roland Garros already won, but now he was stopped in the final of Wimbledon.

Great win for Carlos. I thought the 1st 3 games of that 5th set was as good as I've seen. Great stuff from both players.

Not a good match. Neither player played that well. A long cry from some of the djokovic fed or fed nadal wimbledon finals.

are you drunk?
fed nadal and fed joker wimbledon finals are yesteryear, way back when.
i know you are a closet joker lover but check this out:
a 20yo kid who just left his teenage years 10 weeks ago, is the #1 player in the world and won the US Open last fall and now just beat who most are calling the GOAT (premature ejaculation on that IMO).
do you know what was at stake today?

yeah it was last chance for djoker to get that calendar slam... its crazy how he lost a tiebreak and that 5th set.
dont think it was 'legacy' for him tho? he is above fed and nadal and going to be the best for 10+ years

Only 1 more slam than rafa.
His record h2h v rafa in slams is 7W and 11L.
That is big and cannot be ignored.
Now he's wounded again and everyone will come for him at the US Open in Queens in 6 weeks.
Watch.

That's because he beat Djokovic 8 times at French Open. Not Djoker's fault that Nadal is incapable of reaching the finals outside of FO.
Djokovic is undoubtedly the GOAT.

i am convinced now that JOKER took ALCA lightly due to already beating him at the FO 5 weeks ago and also JOKER's incredible run at Wimbledon.
i am 100% convinced he took him lightly.
just like 2015 vs WAWA in the FO Final.

Alcaraz will win 15 slams at least there are only like 2 or 3 players that can compete with him the rest are barely over challenger level.

Hard to say but I definitely think he took med very lightly when he had chance to win all 4 slams after he won the semi as guy said he not scared of anyone and he can come back from anything but that tb joker definitely started feeling the pressure with those bad ues after up 3-0 and then another mini break later

When the big 3 won all their slams, they were mostly playing each other in epic matches. Things have gotten pretty boring recently with Novak winning them all easily. If Carlos goes off on his own and starts winning every slam, people will stop watching tennis.

Yes but his 11-7 score against Djoker in slams is mostly because of 8 wins at French Open.
Djokovic is the only guy to to win every Grand Slam at least three times.

legacy wasn't at stake. You knee jerk react and live in the moment like you always do. A guy like djokovic will play till he's like 38-39 yrs old. Guy is always in the finals and winning more. No one will remember this match 5 yrs from now, I can guarantee you that. I am not a djoker lover by any means, I am a Rafa and Fed guy all the way, but I call it how I see it, and you call it not based on what the future holds, but what happens in this moment in time, which is why you've never been good at predicting long run stuff.

Fed Djokovic or Nadal in their prime would smack Alcarez 6-2, 6-2, 6-2. His level is nothing compared to what they were. Anyone who watches tennis would confirm this. Sure the kid will get better but he isn't spectacular at anything that I see as of now. I like him, but I call it how I see it. He's just very good at everything on the court, he's not sublime to watch or anything where I say "wow"

yes agree nothing spectacular about him at 20 however, when Fed was 20 in 2021 he was not winning big yet and neither was Joker at age 20 in 2007.
only Rafa at age 20 in 2006 was winning the french for the second year and really showing us something amazing on the court.
i agree that Alca does not blow us away and do anything incredible but he has shown no weaknesses as he now matures and already has 2 slam titles to his name and he is barely 20.25 years old.
