England really had one game against a quality opponent and at times Portugal looked the better team in that game. Spain will control the midfield and should win. Pretty big play on them lifting the trophy for me.

England really had one game against a quality opponent and at times Portugal looked the better team in that game. Spain will control the midfield and should win. Pretty big play on them lifting the trophy for me.

Spain tied against #17 ranked Switzerland ( winning in O.T ) and tied #24 Ukraine , who had the majority of the play over Spain in that Group tie. England were the dominant side against #6 ranked Portugal 1st half , and earned the 1 - 0 lead. They defended well 2nd half and closed out the game. England also dominated #26 Israel 2 - 0 and 3 - 0 , #5 Germany 2 - 0 ( while resting players ) and #18 Czech Rep 2 - 0. If you check the stats in all of those games , it was England's midfield that controlled the games. I just feel that the line should be tilted in England's favor based on all the games to date. Its England who have played against more " Quality " opponents based on Rankings.
