If you can get value on the other side and walk away with guaranteed profits its a no brainer.

Do whatever works for you. I generally only hedge large plus futures and some single game ml dogs. It’s not a no-brainer to me because you get less profit. Then if your orig bet loses you don’t hedge there either. I get hedging on futures but something like Denver 5/1 it was a no-brained to me not to hedge.

If I have a 50-1 future that makes playoffs then of course I will hedge at some point and make a profit. It depends on many factors.
